Up for your consideration is a vintage sterling silver napkin ring by Fessenden & Company of Providence, Rhode Island. According to my research, Fessenden & Company of Providence, Rhode Island, was founded in the 1850s as Whiting Fessenden & Cowan. The name was changed to Wm.P.Fessenden & Co. in 1858 and then Fessenden & Company in 1860. The company went out of business in the 1920s. The napkin ring stands slightly more than 3/4rds of an inch tall, measures almost 2 inches across by almost 1 inch wide, and weighs 5/8ths of an ounce or 20 grams on my all-purpose postal scales. The side is marked with an F inside a diamond - a slanted anchor symbol - CO inside a diamond. Below that mark, it reads: Sterling 604. The napkin ring is in excellent, vintage condition, with no damage. It could use some polishing, but I will leave that to you. Please see all the photos. Thanks for looking!
