This sweet example of Rose Medallion China is immediately recognizable by its unique hand painted pattern. The central medallion is a bird nesting. Two medallions feature people. They appear to be hearing some good gossip. The other two medallions are nearly identical. The meandering green scrolling pattern in between the medallions is a familiar motif found on other Chinese pieces. I don’t want to forget mentioning the four butterflies surrounding the central medallion. There is no mark on saucer base. Condition: Very Good. Please view pictures. There is one tiny granular size bite on saucer edge. Light wear to paint on saucer edge in one spot. Dimensions: 5.5 inches diameter across top, edge to edge.
