This wonderful Victorian coin silver punch or soup ladle was made early in George C. Shreve's production in San Francisco in the third quarter of the 19th c. It features a spiral twist stem and a beautifully hand engraved handle featuring rococo scrolls and a central cartouche with a symmetrical chased design. The ladle tests .900 silver purity and it is 13" long and weighs 215.6 grams. This fine piece from an historical period in California history is in lovely original condition. Stock Number SA2D 346
