Henry Harland (1789-1841) was born in Norwich, Connecticut, son of silversmith Thomas Harland. He traveled regularly between New England and New Orleans, 1815-1832 years active. This product is a pair of circa 1832 Southern Coin Silver serving spoons by Henry Harland from New Orleans.
Fantastic example of an early coin silver comb. This one has the nicest decoration I’ve seen in one yet. Lovely basket/vase full of flowers. It’s quite heavy at a bit over one troy ounce of solid silver. Small imperfections around top edges but overall excellent condition. Roughly 4.25”x4.25”. Ships ASAP! Thanks
